Introduction to LED Display Control Systems
A PCB LED Display Control System is designed to manage and ensure the accurate visual output of large LED screens based on user requirements. Depending on the networking method, these systems are divided into two main categories:
- Networked Version (LED Information Release Control System) – Operates via a cloud-based platform, enabling control of multiple LED terminals remotely.
- Stand-Alone Version (LED Display Controller / LED Display Control Card) – Functions as the core component of the LED display, responsible for converting external video input or on-board multimedia files into digital signals that the LED screen can recognize.
Much like a graphics card in a PC, this controller drives the display, except in this case, the “monitor” is a large-scale LED screen. Based on the access signal mode, these systems can be categorized into synchronous and asynchronous systems.

From the provided image, the LED Display Control System PCB Assembly (PCBA) consists of three boards:

For mass production, we panelize two pieces per panel, with a 10 mm edge and four fiducial marks. After assembly, edges are removed. All manufacturing processes meet industry standards, and there are no X-out boards in panels. The production process follows conventional PCB manufacturing practices.

The connector boards are panelized in sets of two long boards and four smaller boards per panel, with a 10 mm edge and four fiducial marks. They feature 8-pin connectors designed specifically for LED display devices.
Production Challenges and Solutions
One of the main challenges was sourcing a custom connector with specific pin spacing. For the longer connector board, each contains two such connectors. Initially, the client did not provide detailed specifications, so we collaborated with our supplier to produce and test samples. After three rounds of prototyping, the customer confirmed the final design met their requirements.
Additionally, although custom connectors usually require a MOQ of 5K–8K units, our client’s annual demand of approximately 50K units matched our factory’s capabilities perfectly.
